On 10 December, the Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine in Turkmenistan, Petro Makarenko, together with Embassy staff, handed over two vehicles to the servicemen of the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade.
The vehicles, obtained with the support of the Embassies of France and the United States in Turkmenistan as well as representatives of Ukrainian business, will be used by mobile fire groups to carry out tasks on the frontline.
The diplomats also provided another batch of humanitarian aid for Ukrainian soldiers, which will assist them in challenging conditions.
Petro Makarenko expressed his gratitude for their defense of our Homeland, for their steadfastness and courage in preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He emphasized the importance of continued close cooperation between Ukrainian diplomats and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and wished the servicemen of the 21st Brigade determination in countering Russian aggression.
Through the establishment of constructive relations with embassies of partner countries and representatives of Ukrainian business, the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkmenistan actively facilitates the mobilization of financial resources for the procurement of body armor, thermal imaging devices, medical supplies, helmets, and other equipment for our military.
Particularly important is the cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign companies that provide equipment and materials for the construction of fortifications and defensive structures for the military, as well as bomb shelters for civilians. Their contribution to strengthening our country’s defense capability is invaluable.
We express our profound gratitude to our partners and sponsors for their effective cooperation, tangible support, and consistent assistance aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of our state.
Only by uniting our efforts can we consolidate our support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine — support that is critical in the face of Russia’s full-scale aggression.
